If you register your electronics and they are lost, the finder can enter your device in our database and get your email address to return your gadgets.
If electronics are stolen, pawnbrokers or would-be purchasers on Craigslist, ebay or other sites can check this site to see if the electronics are being sold legitimately or if they were stolen. This greatly impedes a thief's ability to resell stolen electronics.
As the Global Gadget Registry, we are currently working with a variety of resellers to dissuade thievery, devalue the stolen gadget marketplace and get your gadgets back in your hands!

It is your phones unique fingerprint and is the best way for someone to find the phone's owner. It is also the number your insurance company requires to reimburse you for your lost phone. The Serial number is 14-17 digits. The problem is we never have the Serial # on hand when we need it...Until now!
It is a long and laborious process. First you must have your gadgets serial number on hand, then go to the police station and file a police report and hope they spend the time to find your electronics. Unfortunately, there is a slim chance of succeeding that way.
Only when someone finds your device and enters your exact Serial # into the WimpIT database, and only they will get your email. No one else. Ever.
We encourage you to compensate your gadgets finder for their time, effort and any shipping costs. Along with building their Good Karma, we believe finders deserve $25 as a nice gesture and sufficient reward.
Most are located on the bottom of the device or under the battery on a striker plate. Note that the Model # is NOT the serial number. If you have any questions, please view your user manual, purchase receipt, or Contact Us.
